Oakley’s Premium Fresh Vegetables Ltd. is a family business started by Robin Oakley, built on five generations of vegetable farming in Canterbury. The business operates within the horticulture industry and is now headquartered in Southbridge and operates on over 450 hectares throughout Canterbury. Oakley’s was founded by Robin Oakley in 1985 with the vision of growing, harvesting, packing, and delivering the freshest produce to its customers throughout New Zealand. The business is involved in the community, engaging in a variety of sponsorship arrangements.

 

Oakley’s provides Canterbury grown, washed and packed table vegetables to the domestic market in New Zealand. The key vegetables are potatoes, broccoli, pumpkin, and beetroot as well as a variety of contract arable and seed crops. Oakley ensures year-round supply to its key customers which are grown sustainably and up to the highest quality specifications.

 

Oakley’s is a Ballance Farm Environment Award winner three times over, recipient of New Zealand’s Outstanding Food Award and a regular contributor to the local community, donating veggies to the food bank and donating thousands to local charities, associations and events.
