We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor to join our Heretaunga team. This a full-time permanent position based in Fernhill, Napier. This role covers all aspects of kiwifruit vine husbandry with a strong focus on quality and team supervision.
You will be an excellent communicator with a proven ability to lead a team. You’ll have an eye for detail and a passion for achieving exceptional results. You’ll be a team player and be willing to work flexible hours as the season dictates.
You will also have:
- Experience training and supervising teams
- Established horticultural skills with a solid understanding of vine/plant husbandry
- A national certificate in Horticulture (or be willing to work towards this)
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
- A positive attitude
- A good level of physical fitness and be able to work outdoors for up to 8 hours at a time
