In conjunction with the Orchard Manager, you will develop and manage the day to day running of client orchards and monitor the health and growth of crops. This will involve the coordination of seasonal orchard activities and training our capable and enthusiastic team of dedicated staff.

In addition to this you will ensure that all Health & Safety and compliance on orchard is maintained such as the management of workers/contractors and industry compliance to ensure all our seasonal requirements are facilitated to the highest possible standard.

At the core of Apata’s business is the harvest and processing of kiwifruit from strategically located Te Puke and Katikati packhouse and cool storage facilities.

Apata is also an expert source of technical support on all aspects of orchard production, as well as being heavily involved in the development, leasing and management of orchards across New Zealand.
